Over the years we've heard stories from our customers about webstores which don't return phone calls, don't actually have items in stock even though their website says they do, and don't have the courtesy to let their customers know when something they've ordered is out of stock.
We do things differently at Cat and Caboodle. This isn't a sideline, hobby, or afterthought for us - it's our day job. So we felt the need to reassure you about a few things, and make some promises to our customers and potential customers:
(1) If you have to leave a voicemail message when you call, we will call you back. Promise.
(2) If our website says we have it in stock, we actually have it in stock, ready to ship to you the same or the next day from our own little warehouse. We don't drop-ship, we don't sell in multiple channels like eBay or Amazon, and we don't have a brick-and-mortar store from which an item could be sold out from under you.
(3) If we discover that we've goofed in telling our store software how many of something we have, and therefore actually don't have something you've ordered, we will call you. Not next month, not next week, but the same day you order. This happens once per year, on average, because while we're not perfect, we are very, VERY careful about accuracy.
(4) We inspect 98% of everything that comes from our manufacturers before it even gets put in stock. This greatly lessens the chances that you'll receive something that's broken, chipped, badly painted, or missing a part.
